Account and Business Development Manager

About the role

The Account and Business Development Manager is the day-to-day face of client relationships, managing a portfolio of client accounts across digital, content and media. The role ensures projects are delivered on time, on brief and to the highest standard, acting as the bridge between clients and the creative, digital and media teams.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned client accounts, building strong, trusted relationships.
• Manage end-to-end delivery of digital campaigns, content production and media activations.
• Maintain project timelines, status reports and delivery trackers so stakeholders stay aligned.
• Brief internal teams (creative, digital, content and media) clearly and on time.
• Monitor campaign performance and give clients regular updates, insights and optimization recommendations.
• Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts.
• Coordinate influencer campaigns, social media content calendars and media planning.
• Respond to client feedback promptly and manage expectations professionally.
• Keep accurate records of approvals, meeting notes, briefs and sign-offs.
• Support the Account Director with new business pitches and proposals.

Required profile

• Proven account management experience in a digital, content, creative or media agency.
• Client-facing experience with professional relationship management.
• Ability to handle several accounts and projects at once.
• Collaborative team player who can also work independently under pressure.

Required skills

• Digital marketing, social media, content strategy, paid media and community management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and attention to detail.
• Project management tools such as Slack and Google Workspace.
