About the role
We are looking for a proactive and detail‑oriented Account Officer to support our finance team. The successful candidate will work closely with senior accountants to ensure accurate financial records and timely reporting.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare, review and post journal entries and general ledger transactions.
- Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
- Support internal and external audit processes by providing required documentation.
- Generate financial reports and analyses for management decision‑making.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in a similar accounting role.
- Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
Required skills
- Proficiency in accounting software.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
