AfCFTA Internship – Procurement, Travel, Facility & Security

About the role

The African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) Secretariat is offering a short‑term internship for final‑year university students to support its Procurement, Travel, Facility and Security units. Interns will gain hands‑on experience in a multicultural, international environment while contributing to the Secretariat’s daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Translate working documents from English to French and vice‑versa in a timely manner.
• Provide interpretation support during meetings, audiences and discussions.
• Assist procurement, travel, facility and security teams with administrative tasks as needed.
• Support the preparation of reports and presentations related to the AfCFTA strategic agenda.

Required profile

• National of an African Union member state and resident in Ghana.
• Final‑year student enrolled full‑time in a relevant programme.
• Strong command of both English and French.
• Motivated, detail‑oriented and able to work in a team.

Required skills

• English‑French translation.
• Interpretation.
