AI-First QA Engineer – Automation & AI Testing

About the role

We are looking for an AI‑first Quality Engineer to accelerate and evolve our quality processes through automation and AI‑driven testing. The role focuses on ensuring faster delivery cycles and resilient products across our digital marketplace, working autonomously and thriving in ambiguous environments.

Key responsibilities

• Perform manual, exploratory, and regression testing.
• Own and expand the Cypress end‑to‑end automation suite.
• Build and maintain API test automation using Postman or Playwright.
• Conduct basic performance testing and recommend improvements.
• Use Sentry and Hotjar to detect issues, spot patterns, and improve user experience.
• Perform deep technical investigations using AWS tracing.
• Partner with engineering to address root causes and production‑level risks.
• Apply AI‑in‑the‑loop validation workflows and AI‑assisted tooling for test creation, bug reproduction, and scenario generation.
• Help shape future AI testing infrastructure.

Required profile

• Strong stakeholder management and leadership mindset.
• Ability to say no when necessary to protect quality and focus.
• Comfortable working independently and collaborating across engineering, product, and operations teams.

Required skills

• Cypress for end‑to‑end automation.
• Postman or Playwright for API testing.
• Basic performance testing knowledge.
• Monitoring tools such as Sentry and Hotjar.
• AWS tracing and investigation capabilities.
