Assistant Manager – Technical

About the role

KEK Insurance Brokers Ltd is looking for an Assistant Manager – Technical to support policy placement, risk assessment, client service and technical operations within its insurance broking business.

Key responsibilities

• Manage policy placements, renewals, endorsements and amendments, ensuring accurate documentation and timely completion.
• Assess client risks, review insurance requirements and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
• Respond to client enquiries, coordinate with insurers and follow up on outstanding requirements to deliver prompt service.
• Drive revenue growth through business development, client retention, cross‑selling and upselling, while supporting claims processing and identifying additional insurance solutions.
• Supervise assigned staff, allocate work, review performance and provide technical guidance and coaching.
• Maintain accurate records, prepare reports, monitor performance indicators and recommend improvements to technical operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Actuarial Science, Business Administration, Finance, Economics or a related discipline.
• Intermediate ACII/CI or equivalent professional insurance qualification.
• Minimum 4–5 years of relevant insurance/technical experience, preferably within insurance broking.
• Experience in policy placement, risk assessment, client service and insurer coordination.
• Experience supervising or providing technical guidance to junior staff is preferred.
