Associate Lawyer

About the role

The company is seeking an Associate Lawyer to join its legal team in the Greater Accra Region, Ghana. This full-time, on-site position involves providing expert legal advice, managing documentation, and safeguarding the organisation’s interests across a range of commercial activities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and negotiate contracts and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, opinions and litigation pleadings.
• Provide legal consultations to internal teams and external clients.
• Ensure compliance with Ghanaian laws and regulations.
• Represent the company in litigation, intellectual-property disputes and regulatory matters.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business operations.

Required profile

• Called to the Bar and in good standing.
• Minimum five (5) years of post-call experience.
• Proven experience in litigation and intellectual-property practice.
• Strong analytical, advocacy and communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
