Branch Manager

About the role

The Branch Manager will lead a savings and loans branch, ensuring high standards of customer service, sales performance and regulatory compliance. You will be responsible for driving growth, managing staff and safeguarding assets while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and improve customer service standards, monitor complaints and implement corrective actions.
• Inspire, motivate and lead branch staff, conduct performance appraisals, coaching and manage disciplinary matters.
• Drive deposit growth, acquire new accounts, reactivate dormant accounts and promote cross‑selling of banking products.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, regulatory requirements and risk‑management policies.
• Optimize branch revenue, control expenditures, safeguard assets and manage cash holdings.
• Support internal and external audit processes and implement change‑management initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Finance, Business Administration or related field (MBA preferred).
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in branch management or retail banking, preferably in savings and loans.
• Strong leadership, customer‑service and sales‑management capabilities.
• In‑depth knowledge of banking products, risk management, compliance and local market trends.
