Business Development Manager – Nigeria

About the role

The Business Development Manager will drive revenue growth for the Nigerian market, leading the full sales cycle and managing key enterprise and mobile network operator accounts. You will shape go‑to‑market strategies for SeVO Business solutions and build strategic partnerships to expand market reach.

Key responsibilities

• Own and achieve monthly, quarterly and annual revenue targets for Nigeria.
• Identify, develop and convert new business opportunities across telecoms, fintech, banking, FMCG and public sector.
• Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, manage prospecting, client engagement, proposal development, negotiation and deal closure.
• Develop and execute go‑to‑market plans for SeVO Business solutions.
• Manage a portfolio of enterprise and MNO accounts, driving upselling, cross‑selling and contract renewals.
• Conduct regular client business reviews and ensure high satisfaction and retention.
• Establish and nurture relationships with Mobile Network Operators and ecosystem partners.
• Monitor industry trends, competitor activity and emerging opportunities in Nigeria.
• Collaborate with product, technology and operations teams to ensure successful solution delivery.
• Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reports and performance dashboards.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years (60 months) of business development or sales experience, preferably in telecom, fintech or related sectors.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
• Experience managing enterprise and MNO accounts, including upselling and contract negotiations.
• Strong understanding of the Nigerian market and its regulatory environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
