Business Unit Head – SEZ Operations (Africa)

About the role

The Business Unit Head will lead the SEZ business division across selected African countries, overseeing agri and non‑agri commodity trading and processing. This senior position reports directly to senior leadership and carries full P&L responsibility.

Key responsibilities

• Lead overall P&L and operations of the SEZ business unit, managing key personnel.
• Drive sales of SEZ assets to Indian, African and global investors.
• Oversee procurement, logistics and supply‑chain functions to secure optimal commodity pricing.
• Plan and manage logistics to support efficient commodity trading and processing.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across Africa and internationally.
• Implement risk‑mitigation strategies related to commodity trading and processing.
• Champion commercial acumen and entrepreneurial solutions to drive growth.

Required profile

• 8‑12 years of experience in sales, marketing and P&L management within FMCG/consumer goods.
• Proven ability to manage large business units with full P&L responsibility.
• Engineering degree and MBA from a premium business school (strongly preferred).
• Willingness to relocate to Africa, potentially with family.
