Chainsaw Operator – Forestry Harvesting

About the role
Form Ghana Ltd is looking for energetic individuals to be trained as chainsaw operators for its harvesting and plantation activities in Berekum, Bono Region. The role involves safely felling, de‑branching, topping and cross‑cutting trees while adhering to quality and safety standards.
Key responsibilities
- Fell, de‑branch, top and cross‑cut marked trees and any additional trees assigned by supervisors.
- Inspect and ensure chainsaws and safety features are in good working order before each use.
- Maintain and repair chainsaws and related equipment according to standard operating procedures.
- Report unsafe acts or conditions to the Felling or Harvesting Supervisor.
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment at all times.
Required profile
- Minimum Junior High School (JHS) certificate.
- Physically and mentally fit, dependable and able to follow instructions.
- Positive attitude with good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid NHIS card and SSNIT number.
Required skills
- Chainsaw operation.
- Chainsaw maintenance and basic repair.
