Chief Engineer – Luxury Hotel & Resort

About the role

The Royal Senchi Hotel & Resort seeks an experienced Chief Engineer to lead its Maintenance Department. You will ensure the flawless operation of all hotel equipment and uphold the highest standards of luxury hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day operations of the maintenance team and develop a comprehensive preventive‑maintenance program.
• Oversee repair priorities, inventory of spare parts, and ensure proper registration of all maintenance items.
• Coordinate fire and safety training with the Security Manager and implement ongoing skills development for staff.
• Control payroll and operational costs, ensuring the department stays within budget.

Required profile

• 5‑10+ years in a leadership role managing engineers in a 4‑ or 5‑star hotel or resort.
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, electronics, civil engineering or facilities management; Master’s degree is a plus.
• Strong leadership, project and budget management, and compliance with local safety and environmental regulations.
