Client Service Consultant

About the role

We are looking for a Client Service Consultant to join Old Mutual’s branch team. The role focuses on delivering face‑to‑face service to walk‑in customers, handling inquiries, claims and escalations while supporting overall branch operations.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and assist walk‑in customers, providing accurate and timely information.
• Manage customer inquiries, complaints and escalations in line with service standards.
• Support claims intake, documentation and follow‑up at the branch level.
• Educate customers on Old Mutual products, services and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with operational, regulatory and service guidelines.
• Liaise with internal departments to resolve issues promptly.
• Contribute to customer experience initiatives and service‑improvement projects.
• Maintain accurate customer records and service logs.
• Prepare daily and monthly activity reports for branch management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (any discipline).
• Strong oral communication and client‑management abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively and meet service standards.
