Climate Resilience Project Manager

About the role

The Climate Resilience Project Manager will lead the development of climate‑focused financial products for Advans Ghana, working closely with the TA Provider, internal business units and international partners. This role combines project management, climate finance expertise, and cross‑functional coordination to bring new services to market.

Key responsibilities

• Support the TA Provider in conducting feasibility studies, including client sampling, logistics and fieldwork.
• Coordinate internal stakeholders (risk, operations, logistics, training, HR, IT) to ensure seamless communication and alignment.
• Assist in adapting loan, savings and insurance products for climate emergencies, defining technical specifications and updating procedures.
• Help draft partnership agreements and manage partner relationships, including training and communication.
• Drive internal pilot implementation: finalize documentation, configure core banking systems, train head‑office and field staff.
• Define pilot plans, monitor progress with the TA Provider, and establish feedback mechanisms.
• Support business case development, scaling strategy and long‑term funding plans.
• Participate in capacity‑building activities to ensure sustainable hand‑over of new products.

Required profile

• Graduate of a business school, engineering school or university in project management, development economics, or climate/green finance.
• Minimum three years of professional experience in project management.
• Strong knowledge of climate change risks, impacts and climate finance.
• Interest in micro‑finance and commitment to Advans’ mission against climate change.
