Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer

About the role

Bold Vision MultiTech (BVM) is seeking a technical co‑founder to own and drive the technology vision of Africa’s AI and digital business infrastructure. As Co‑Founder and CTO you will work side‑by‑side with the CEO, shaping product architecture, building the engineering team, and delivering enterprise solutions for banks, governments and large organisations.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the full technical architecture of BVM’s product suite and platform infrastructure.
• Recruit, mentor and lead an engineering team as the company scales.
• Lead technical delivery on enterprise client engagements, ensuring security, compliance and regulatory alignment.
• Develop the MCP server and developer ecosystem that will become Africa’s AI infrastructure protocol layer.
• Manage security, PSP licence requirements, GDPR, AML/KYC and other regulatory frameworks.
• Craft BVM’s technical narrative for investors, enterprise clients and the broader African tech ecosystem.

Required profile

• Proven experience shipping complex systems in African markets, especially low‑bandwidth mobile environments.
• Hands‑on expertise with AI production systems, LLM‑powered services and prompt optimisation.
• Deep knowledge of WhatsApp Business API at scale, including webhook reliability and template compliance.
• Track record building full‑stack applications with Node.js, TypeScript, Next.js and Supabase under load.
• Experience integrating payment solutions such as Paystack and mobile money (MoMo).
