Coding & Robotics Facilitator – Eastern Region

About the role

SmartThynk Innovation Hub is seeking a passionate Coding & Robotics Facilitator to deliver hands‑on STEM education to primary and junior high school students across partner schools in Ghana’s Eastern Region.

Key responsibilities

• Teach coding and robotics to students (P1–JHS3) using platforms such as Scratch, micro:bit, LEGO WeDo and Arduino.
• Plan and deliver engaging, project‑based sessions.
• Design fun, real‑world coding and robotics projects with learners.
• Track attendance, assess learner progress and provide extra support to struggling students.
• Submit regular session and progress reports.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience in both coding and robotics (non‑negotiable).
• Ability to confidently teach and troubleshoot at least one coding platform (Scratch, JavaScript or Python) and one robotics platform (micro:bit, Arduino or LEGO WeDo).
• Strong communication skills and patience when working with children.
• Based in or willing to work within the Eastern Region (Suhum, Koforidua and surrounding areas).
• Own laptop.
