Communication & Digital Internship

About the role

The African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) Secretariat is offering a short‑term internship focused on communication, digital communication and translation. Interns will work alongside the Secretariat’s communication team, gaining exposure to the operations of a major continental trade initiative.

Key responsibilities

• Translate working documents and reports from English to French and vice‑versa in a timely manner.
• Provide interpretation support during meetings, workshops and public audiences.
• Assist in preparing communication materials for digital platforms and outreach campaigns.
• Support the promotion of AfCFTA initiatives to youth and the general public.

Required profile

• Final‑year university student enrolled full‑time.
• National of an African Union member state and resident in Ghana.
• Strong command of both English and French.
• Interest in international trade, digital communication and multicultural environments.

Required skills

• English‑French translation.
• Interpretation.
