Compliance Manager – Financial Services

About the role

FinVolution Group is seeking a Compliance Manager to develop, implement and maintain a robust compliance framework aligned with Ghana’s financial services regulations. The role will oversee daily compliance operations, conduct audits, and act as the primary liaison with regulators and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret changes to Ghanaian financial regulations (Bank of Ghana, NCA, DPC) and translate them into actionable policies.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive compliance manual covering digital credit, data management, fair lending and AML measures.
• Conduct regular compliance reviews of loan origination, disbursement, repayment and customer communications.
• Collaborate with legal, product and operations teams to ensure new digital credit products meet regulatory requirements before launch.
• Lead annual compliance risk assessments and create mitigation plans with clear timelines.
• Monitor emerging risks such as cybersecurity threats and evolving consumer protection expectations.
• Investigate compliance incidents, prepare incident reports and recommend corrective actions.
• Oversee implementation of compliance policies and deliver regular training sessions for staff.

Required profile

• Deep knowledge of Ghana’s financial regulatory landscape, including Bank of Ghana guidelines and the Data Protection Act.
• Strong analytical abilities and experience conducting audits and risk assessments.
• Commitment to fostering a culture of compliance across all departments.
