Compliance Officer – Remote (Ghana)

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Compliance Officer to oversee and ensure adherence to Ghanaian regulations and online gaming licensing requirements. This fully remote position supports our online gaming and iGaming operations, acting as the primary liaison with regulators and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and enforce compliance with local gaming laws and licensing obligations.
• Liaise with Ghanaian regulators, legal advisors, and government authorities on compliance matters.
• Develop, implement, and monitor AML and KYC policies and procedures.
• Conduct compliance reviews, risk assessments, and internal investigations as needed.
• Track regulatory updates and advise management on potential impacts.
• Support licensing applications, renewals, and ongoing regulatory reporting.
• Provide compliance guidance to internal teams to ensure daily operations meet legal standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in compliance, legal, or regulatory roles within gaming, fintech, or related sectors.
• Familiarity with Ghana’s online gaming and betting regulations.
• Experience working with local regulatory authorities is highly preferred.
• Legal background or qualified lawyer is a strong advantage.
• Strong communication skills in English and ability to work independently.
