Consultant for Mid-Term Review of EU-Funded Disability Inclusion Project

About the role

The Consultant will lead an independent mid‑term review of an EU‑funded disability inclusion project, assessing its progress, relevance, effectiveness, efficiency and sustainability. The role is contract‑based, on‑site in Ghana, and requires close collaboration with GFD, its member organisations and project partners.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement review methodologies, including data collection tools and results‑based analysis frameworks.
• Conduct field visits, stakeholder consultations and gather quantitative and qualitative data.
• Analyse findings against planned outcomes and indicators, documenting lessons learned, risks and opportunities.
• Prepare clear reports, deliver presentations of findings and provide practical recommendations to improve implementation and impact.

Required profile

• Strong expertise in project evaluation and monitoring, especially for donor‑funded initiatives.
• Demonstrated experience with disability inclusion and human‑rights‑based approaches.
• Advanced research and analytical skills, including qualitative and quantitative methods.
• Relevant postgraduate degree in social sciences, development studies, disability studies, public policy or related field.
• Professional experience in Ghana or similar contexts and knowledge of national disability policy.
