Cook Assistant – Kitchen Support

About the role
Keda Ghana Ceramics Company Limited is expanding its catering team and seeks a Cook Assistant to support daily kitchen operations. This entry‑level position offers hands‑on experience in food preparation, hygiene maintenance, and support during busy service periods.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in preparing and cooking menu items under the supervision of senior kitchen staff.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, cooking stations, and dining areas.
- Wash, dry, and store utensils, cookware, and equipment safely.
- Follow established food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
- Support the catering team during peak periods and special events.
Required profile
- JHS or SHS certificate.
- Physical fitness to handle kitchen tasks.
- Basic understanding of English.
- Strong awareness of hygiene and food safety practices.
- Prior kitchen or catering experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
