Country Training & Development Lead – Ghana

About the role

The Country Training & Development Lead will design and deliver a comprehensive learning and development strategy for Nexture Hospitality Group’s portfolio of hotels in Ghana. This role supports service excellence, operational performance, and the creation of a high‑performing workforce aligned with the group’s standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a national training and development strategy for all portfolio hotels.
• Establish standardized onboarding programmes for every hotel‑based role.
• Design competency frameworks that reflect operational and brand standards.
• Ensure consistent training delivery across Accra and Kumasi locations.
• Create and deliver programmes covering guest service excellence, operational skills, leadership development, and mandatory compliance.
• Identify skill gaps and introduce targeted, blended learning interventions (in‑person, virtual, digital tools).
• Support career progression pathways, internal mobility, and succession planning for high‑potential employees.
• Assist hotel teams with recruitment processes and structured onboarding experiences.
• Monitor training effectiveness through KPIs and operational metrics, driving a culture of continuous learning.
• Ensure all programmes meet brand standards and statutory training requirements, conducting regular audits and quality assessments.
• Collaborate closely with General Managers, HR, and department heads as the subject‑matter expert for training.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading human capital development within the hospitality sector.
• Demonstrated ability to design and implement training strategies across multiple locations.
• Strong partnership skills with hotel leadership and HR teams.
• Experience in recruitment, onboarding, talent development, and succession planning.
• Knowledge of compliance, quality assurance, and training audit processes.
