Crane Driver/Operator

About the role

Sunda International is seeking a reliable Crane Driver/Operator to join its team in the Accra & Tema region. The role involves safely handling a variety of cranes and lifting equipment to support manufacturing and warehousing operations.

Key responsibilities

• Operate overhead, mobile and other cranes according to site lifting plans.
• Load, unload, position and secure heavy materials and equipment.
• Perform daily pre‑operation inspections and report any faults or safety concerns.
• Use appropriate lifting accessories such as slings, hooks, chains and shackles.
• Maintain accurate operational logs and maintenance records.
• Carry out routine cleaning, lubrication and minor maintenance of crane equipment.
• Stop work immediately if unsafe conditions or equipment malfunctions are detected.

Required profile

• Entry‑level candidate with at least 12 months of relevant experience.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and lifting plans.
• Good communication with supervisors, riggers and ground personnel.

Required skills

• Crane operation (overhead and mobile).
• Lifting equipment handling.
• Equipment inspection and basic maintenance.
