Customs Administration Internship – AfCFTA Secretariat

About the role
The AfCFTA Secretariat is offering a short‑term internship focused on customs administration. Interns will gain hands‑on experience in a multicultural environment while supporting the translation and interpretation needs of the Secretariat.
Key responsibilities
- Translate working documents from English to French and vice‑versa in a timely manner.
- Provide interpretation support during meetings, audiences, and discussions.
- Assist corporate functions and contribute to projects linked to the Secretariat’s strategic orientations.
- Help promote AfCFTA initiatives to the public, especially youth audiences.
Required profile
- National of an African Union member state and resident in Ghana.
- Final‑year university student enrolled full‑time in a relevant field.
- Strong academic background and motivation to work in an international organization.
Required skills
- Proficiency in English‑French translation.
- Interpretation skills for oral communication.
