Deputy Plant Head

About the role

As Deputy Plant Head you will support the Plant Head in leading Spiro’s new assembly facility in Ghana. The role combines strategic planning, operational excellence and people leadership to deliver on‑time, high‑quality electric vehicle production.

Key responsibilities

• Direct daily plant operations to meet production targets, quality standards and cost objectives.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Six Sigma and Industry 4.0 tools to improve productivity and monitor OEE, cycle time and TAKT time.
• Oversee preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance, applying TPM to maximise MTBF and minimise MTTR.
• Prepare and control CAPEX and OPEX budgets, analyse cost‑per‑unit, material inventory and overhead KPIs.
• Manage supply‑chain activities, ensuring timely procurement, JIT, Kanban and VMI inventory flows and accurate ERP/SAP stock records.
• Coordinate production planning and dispatch, aligning master schedules with demand forecasts and ensuring on‑time delivery.
