Maintenance Manager

About the role

Equatorial Coca-Cola Bottling Company is seeking a proactive Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance strategy at its Accra bottling plant. You will be responsible for maximizing equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and supporting production and business objectives through effective maintenance practices.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all plant maintenance activities, including preventive, predictive, and corrective work.
• Define and monitor KPIs that drive equipment uptime and performance.
• Manage maintenance planning, spare‑parts inventory, vendor relationships, budgeting, and resource allocation.
• Ensure compliance with Coca‑Cola engineering standards, quality, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Collaborate daily with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams to resolve technical issues quickly.
• Develop and implement innovative solutions to improve efficiency and reduce operating costs.
• Promote a strong safety and quality culture throughout maintenance operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Industrial Engineering (maintenance/reliability certification is a plus).
• 10–15 years of experience in beverage or food manufacturing, with at least 6 years in a senior maintenance leadership role.
• Proven track record implementing preventive and predictive maintenance programs and using CMMS tools.
• Deep knowledge of industrial utilities and equipment such as electrical systems, refrigeration units, and compressors.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and quality standards in an FMCG environment.
