Director – Business Development & Commercials

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Director of Business Development & Commercials to lead our growth initiatives in Accra. This full‑time, on‑site position will drive new business, manage key accounts, and shape our commercial strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities and generate qualified leads.
• Negotiate contracts and close deals with prospective clients.
• Oversee existing account management to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
• Develop and execute strategic business plans that align with market trends.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to create and implement growth initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven expertise in new business development, lead generation, and growth opportunity identification.
• Strong background in business planning and strategic initiative formulation.
• Demonstrated experience in contract negotiation and stakeholder communication.
• Track record of successful account management and client satisfaction.
• Exceptional leadership, organizational, and analytical abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
