Director, Programming Excellence

About the role

The Director, Programming Excellence provides strategic leadership to embed consistent, high‑quality, inclusive, and adaptive program delivery practices across the Foundation. This senior role shapes standards, processes and systems that enable operational excellence throughout the partner lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, refine and maintain programming standards, toolkits and templates to ensure consistency across platforms and countries.
• Lead quality‑assurance activities from partner due diligence through implementation to exit, aligning with Foundation values.
• Oversee the end‑to‑end partner journey, designing structured onboarding, accompaniment and off‑boarding experiences.
• Identify capacity gaps and design training, workshops and learning sessions for program teams.
• Coordinate with Foundation Academy, Knowledge Management and Research to codify and share best practices.
• Facilitate feedback mechanisms, surveys and communities of practice to continuously improve partner experience.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in program management, partnership coordination or similar fields.
• Strong track record of designing and implementing standards, processes and quality‑assurance frameworks.
• Excellent collaboration skills with cross‑functional teams and external partners.
• Ability to translate strategic goals into operational tools and measurable indicators.
