About the role

Koforidua Technical University is seeking a qualified Dispensing Technician to support its pharmacy services, ensuring accurate preparation and dispensing of medicines for students and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and dispense prescribed medications in accordance with professional standards.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and manage stock levels.
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and the Pharmacy Council guidelines.
• Document dispensing activities and keep patient records up to date.
• Assist in counseling patients on medication use and safety.
• Support procurement and ordering of pharmaceutical supplies.

Required profile

• Diploma in Dispensing Technology or equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Registered with the Pharmacy Council.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy law and medication safety.

• Ability to work effectively in a university environment.
