Economics and Business Studies Teacher (IGCSE)

About the role

360 Education Consultancy, a specialist organization supporting sixth form learners with academic guidance, curriculum development and exam preparation, is hiring a full-time on-site Economics and Business Studies teacher. The position is based in East Legon and covers IGCSE-level teaching.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons on economics and business concepts.
• Prepare schemes of work aligned with the IGCSE curriculum.
• Assess learners through assignments, tests and examinations, giving constructive feedback.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate regularly with learners and guardians.
• Take part in departmental meetings and academic planning.

Required profile

• Strong subject knowledge in Economics and Business, with experience teaching at IGCSE or similar international curricula.
• Proven experience teaching at secondary or sixth form level, preferably in an international or IGCSE setting.
• Relevant academic qualification in Economics, Business, Education or a related field; a teaching certification or license is highly beneficial.
• Excellent communication skills and strong organizational skills, with a learner-centred approach.

Required skills

• Lesson planning, curriculum alignment, assessment design and classroom management.
• Ability to use basic educational technology and digital resources to support teaching and assessment.
