Employee Relations Manager (HR)

About the role

The Employee Relations Manager will lead HR initiatives focused on employee relations, union negotiations and workplace conditions for Keda Ghana Ceramics. Reporting to senior management, the role ensures compliance with labour laws and promotes a harmonious work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR strategies that improve employee relations and working conditions.
• Handle trade‑union negotiations, mediate disputes and address employee grievances.
• Assess employee feedback, reduce turnover and boost satisfaction and retention.
• Prepare detailed turnover reports and propose actionable solutions.
• Establish clear communication frameworks between staff and management.
• Analyze feedback trends to identify improvement opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant labour laws and regulations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with employees and management to enhance workplace harmony.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, Psychology or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an HR managerial role, preferably in manufacturing or industrial sectors.
• Proven expertise in employee relations, union negotiations and resolving labour disputes.
• Experience managing workforce dynamics and driving retention strategies.

• In‑depth knowledge of labour law and HR compliance.
• Analytical skills to assess HR trends and generate reports.
