Employee Relations Manager

About the role

Keda Ghana Ceramics Company Limited is seeking an experienced Employee Relations Manager to lead its HR initiatives focused on industrial harmony, employee satisfaction, and compliance with labour regulations. You will act as the primary liaison between management, staff, and trade unions, shaping a positive workplace culture.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR strategies that improve working conditions and employee relations.
• Lead trade‑union negotiations, address grievances, and mediate disputes to maintain industrial harmony.
• Assess employee feedback, reduce turnover, and boost satisfaction and retention.
• Prepare detailed turnover reports and propose actionable solutions.
• Establish clear communication frameworks between employees and management.
• Analyze feedback trends to identify improvement opportunities.
• Ensure full compliance with labour laws and mitigate legal risks.
• Build strong relationships across the organisation, resolving conflicts and fostering collaboration.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, Psychology or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of HR managerial experience, preferably in manufacturing or industrial settings.
• Proven expertise in employee relations, union negotiations and labour dispute resolution.
• Experience driving workforce dynamics and retention strategies.

• In‑depth knowledge of labour law and HR compliance.
• Proven mediation skills for industrial disputes and grievances.
