End User Computing Analyst

About the role

The End User Computing Analyst ensures seamless operation and security of professional applications and end‑user devices at Newmont’s Ahafo North mine site. You will support a wide range of hardware and software, respond quickly to technology issues, and continuously improve digital services based on user feedback.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and support laptops, cellphones, video‑conference rooms, desktops and mobile applications.
• Ensure smooth operation of printers, scanners, copiers, audio‑visual equipment, server rooms, video systems, electronic displays and meeting‑room equipment.
• Provide prompt technical support and troubleshooting to end‑users, administering user accounts, permissions and access rights.
• Monitor security and integrity of devices and data, implementing security measures and protocols.
• Configure and maintain end‑user devices, gather user feedback and act on it to improve services.
• Assist with regional or global technology projects and support vendors and contractors to meet service standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in technical support or services, preferably within a mining environment.
• Strong communication skills with vendors, service providers and internal stakeholders.

Required skills

• Diagnosing and resolving application and device issues.
• Maintaining laptops, cellphones, video‑conference rooms, desktops and mobile applications.
• Configuring and maintaining end‑user devices such as desktops, laptops, printers and mobile devices.
• Administering user accounts, permissions and access rights.
• Implementing security measures and protocols for end‑user devices.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
