Enterprise Business Unit Director – Telecom

About the role

The Enterprise Business Unit Director will lead Telecel Ghana’s Business and Wholesale segment, driving strategy, growth and profitability across large corporates, SMEs, government, carriers and the wholesale subsidiary. The role focuses on transforming traditional connectivity services into a solutions‑led, digital portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute enterprise business strategy aligned with company objectives.
• Identify growth opportunities across enterprise segments and lead transition to integrated ICT solutions (cloud, managed services, IoT, cybersecurity).
• Own enterprise revenue, EBITDA and market‑share targets; build sustainable pipeline and ensure robust sales forecasting.
• Lead and manage enterprise sales teams, foster high‑performance culture and strengthen indirect channels.
• Oversee bid management for large strategic deals and explore cross‑border wholesale opportunities.
• Collaborate with product, technology and partners to design compelling enterprise solutions.
• Develop strong relationships with key enterprise clients, implement account management frameworks and improve customer satisfaction.
• Build strategic alliances with technology providers, system integrators and solution partners.

Required profile

• Proven track record in leading enterprise business units within the telecom sector.
• Strong P&L ownership and experience driving revenue growth and market‑share expansion.
• Ability to manage large sales teams and indirect channel partners.
