Estate Officer

About the role

The University is looking for a dynamic, self‑motivated professional to lead its Estate Department. Reporting to the Director of Works and Physical Development, the Estate Officer will ensure effective management of university estates in line with the Technical Universities Act.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the overall head of the Estate Department.
• Coordinate estate activities with the Office of Works and Physical Development.
• Implement policies and statutes governing university estates.
• Oversee maintenance, allocation, and development of campus land and facilities.
• Prepare reports and documentation for external assessors.

Required profile

• Research Master’s degree in Built Environment, Land Economy, Estate Management or a related field.
• Relevant professional qualification.
• Minimum six (6) years experience as an Estate Officer in a university or comparable institution.
• Demonstrated ability to produce scholarly papers and publications for external assessment.
• Computer literacy.
