Executive Vice President – Energy Business Development

About the role

The Executive Vice President – Energy Business Development leads the company’s growth strategy across the energy sector. Reporting to the CEO and senior leadership, this senior executive drives market expansion, strategic partnerships and new revenue streams in renewable energy, power generation, storage, hydrogen and related services.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute enterprise‑wide business development strategies aligned with corporate objectives.
• Identify, evaluate and prioritize opportunities across emerging energy markets and sectors.
• Set growth targets, KPIs and commercial performance frameworks for the energy portfolio.
• Lead strategic initiatives to expand the company’s energy business, including joint ventures and alliances.
• Build and maintain executive‑level relationships with utilities, investors, technology providers, government bodies and major customers.
• Analyse market trends, regulatory changes and competitive dynamics to shape market entry and expansion plans.
• Support national and international expansion efforts for renewable energy, storage, hydrogen and related services.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in energy business development or corporate growth.
• Track record of delivering large‑scale commercial strategies and revenue growth.
• Strong network within utilities, investors, technology firms and government stakeholders.
• Excellent strategic thinking and ability to influence C‑level executives.
