Experienced Mechanic

About the role

AutoShack Ghana is seeking a skilled mechanic to join its workshop team in Accra. The role involves performing a wide range of mechanical repairs and diagnostics on various vehicle models, ensuring high service quality and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose vehicle issues using hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Carry out mechanical repairs on engines, transmissions and other systems.
• Interpret automotive repair manuals, blueprints and technical schematics.
• Maintain workshop tools and equipment in good condition.
• Document work performed and update service records using computer systems.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an auto mechanic with a focus on mechanical repairs.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle systems such as engines and transmissions.
• Ability to think critically and work proactively.
• Basic computer skills for accessing manuals and recording service data.
