Farm Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Farm Manager to lead our poultry operations. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of production, ensuring bio‑security, and meeting performance targets.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and manage feed, vaccines, medications, and other farm inputs.
• Supervise and train farm workers to follow operational procedures.
• Oversee day‑to‑day poultry farm activities such as brooding, feeding, vaccination, and growth monitoring.
• Maintain strict biosecurity and hygiene standards across the farm.
• Monitor bird health, detect early disease signs, and coordinate veterinary interventions.
• Keep accurate records of production, mortality, feed consumption, and sales.
• Manage inventory, budgeting, cost control, and reporting.
• Collaborate with senior management to achieve production targets and improve efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory guidelines.

Required profile

• Minimum of an HND in Agriculture, Animal Science, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience managing a poultry farm (layers or broilers).
• Ability to work independently and handle farm emergencies.
• Proficiency in record‑keeping and basic computer applications is an advantage.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
