Fashion Photographer & Sales Assistant (Accra)

About the role

Ananse is seeking a creative and commercially‑minded individual to join its Accra studio as a Fashion Photographer and Sales Assistant. The role blends high‑quality fashion photography with client‑facing sales support, helping fashion entrepreneurs showcase their work and driving studio revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute professional fashion shoots for designers, SMEs and creative professionals, covering product, lookbook, e‑commerce and editorial imagery.
• Collaborate with stylists, models and creative teams to ensure optimal lighting, composition and post‑production quality.
• Maintain and prepare studio photography equipment for each session.
• Promote studio services to walk‑in clients and B2B prospects, upsell styling, podcast recording and content‑creation packages.
• Track leads, enquiries and conversions, reporting results to the Studio Commercial Lead.
• Greet clients, manage bookings, client databases and payment tracking; provide front‑of‑house support during shoots and events.
• Handle basic studio administration, including supplies, equipment checks and facility upkeep.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Business Photography, Multimedia, Marketing or a related field.
• Proven experience as a fashion photographer with a strong portfolio.
• Background in reception, sales or customer‑service roles, preferably in a commercial studio.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a client‑first mindset.
• Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
