Field Engineering Program – Generator Specialist

About the role

This entry‑level position is part of FieldCore’s Field Engineering Program (FEP). You will receive a blend of classroom and on‑the‑job training, learn from experienced Technical Field Advisors, and travel to customer sites to support power‑generation equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate on‑site activities for installation, preventive maintenance, repair and calibration of gas/steam turbine systems.
• Respond to emergency repair requests and provide technical assistance to customer representatives.
• Prepare technical reports, job status updates, material orders and quotations.
• Ensure all work follows safety, environmental and EHS policies.

Required profile

• Entry‑level candidate with a strong technical aptitude for reading electrical, mechanical flow and instrument diagrams.
• Willingness to travel frequently and work in field environments.
• Commitment to safety and ability to follow written procedures and policies.

Required skills

• Interpretation of electrical and mechanical flow diagrams.
• Dial and laser alignment techniques.
• Use of thermal growth measurement equipment.
• Installation, maintenance and calibration of gas/steam turbines.
• Technical report writing and documentation.
