Field Sales Representative (Outside Sales)

About the role
We are looking for a proactive Field Sales (Outside Sales) Representative to join our sales team in Ghana. The role focuses on developing and executing sales strategies to acquire new customers, retain existing accounts, and drive revenue growth across the assigned territory.
Key responsibilities
- Use a variety of sales techniques to close deals and achieve targets.
- Forecast sales, create innovative sales methodologies and assess their impact.
- Identify and attract new clients through strategic prospecting and sales processes.
- Assess client needs, build lasting relationships, and negotiate contracts.
- Meet individual and team sales quotas.
- Collaborate with fellow sales representatives to share best practices.
- Research and generate leads for targeted accounts.
- Participate in sales events, meetings and training to stay updated on market trends.
- Provide senior management with performance feedback supported by statistics.
- Maintain and expand the client database within the territory.
- Prepare daily and monthly sales reports.
Required profile
- BS/BA in Sales, Marketing or a related field (high school diploma with relevant experience also considered).
- Proven experience as a Field Sales Representative or similar role.
- Strong customer service orientation and a record of meeting sales quotas.
- Hands‑on experience with CRM systems and pipeline management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal abilities.
- Self‑motivated, result‑driven and able to work independently.
