About the role
The Finance Coordinator will manage day‑to‑day financial operations for the country office, ensuring accurate processing of transactions, budget monitoring, and compliance with donor and statutory requirements. Working under the Finance Manager, this role supports the organization’s mission to strengthen health systems across low‑ and middle‑income countries.
Key responsibilities
- Process payment requests, vendor invoices, staff advances, and expense liquidations.
- Maintain cash and imprest accounts, perform budget tracking, and prepare financial reports.
- Handle statutory remittances and ensure compliance with local regulations.
- Provide procurement support and translate financial policies into practice.
- Supervise the Finance Assistant, reviewing their work and ensuring documentation is complete before processing.
Required profile
- Relevant degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- Experience in financial operations within an international or non‑profit environment.
- Ability to interpret donor requirements and local financial regulations.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
