Freelance Compensation Benchmarking Consultant

About the role

People & Partners Group is seeking experienced freelance consultants to lead salary survey and compensation benchmarking projects for leading organisations operating in Ghana. The engagement is project‑based and forms the first phase of a continent‑wide benchmarking exercise across multiple African markets.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and validate compensation data for strategic roles in sales, marketing, supply chain, finance and operations.
• Analyse salary structures across job families and levels to produce benchmark reports.
• Provide recommendations on compensation structuring tailored to client organisations with revenues from $25 M to $250 M+.
• Collaborate with the Operations Manager and client HR teams to ensure data accuracy and relevance.
• Support the expansion of the benchmarking panel as the project scales to additional African countries.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering salary surveys, job evaluation and compensation structuring in African markets.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently on a freelance basis.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience handling data for large workforces (>1,000 employees).
• Familiarity with multiple industries such as FMCG, manufacturing, financial services, construction, real estate, healthcare and agriculture.
