Frontend Developer

About the role

Join Cornerstone’s product engineering team to create intuitive, responsive, and accessible user experiences for individuals, merchants, and institutions. You will work on customer‑facing web applications, dashboards, merchant portals, and possibly mobile interfaces.

Key responsibilities

• Develop responsive interfaces using React and JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Build dashboards for savings, merchant transactions, settlements, and organisational collections.
• Integrate frontend applications with secure backend APIs.
• Create reusable components and maintain consistent styling.
• Handle loading states, form validation, transaction status displays, and error messages.
• Test features across devices and screen sizes.
• Collaborate on improving usability, accessibility, and performance.
• Participate in code reviews and GitHub workflows.

Required profile

• Good understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React.
• Basic experience with REST APIs and frontend state management.
• Ability to translate UI designs into functional interfaces.
• Knowledge of Git and responsive design principles.
• Evidence of personal, academic, or professional frontend projects.
• Attention to detail and willingness to learn.
