FTTH Field Supervisor (OSP)

About the role

Join CANAL+ Telecom Africa’s Operations Direction as an FTTH Field Supervisor. You will lead on‑site teams and subcontractors to deliver passive fibre‑optic network deployments across the Accra and Tema region, ensuring quality, safety and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise civil works, fibre cable installation and passive FTTH infrastructure deployment.
• Ensure OSP works meet technical specifications, safety standards and project timelines.
• Conduct field inspections, technical audits and coordinate with Engineering, Deployment, Maintenance and logistics teams.
• Manage on‑site incidents, oversee repairs and maintain accurate as‑built documentation for GIS updates.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Telecommunications, Civil Engineering or a related technical field.
• Strong understanding of FTTH networks, fibre‑optic deployments and OSP infrastructure.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders.
• Proactive, rigorous and committed to high‑quality project delivery.
• Valid driver’s licence for car or motorbike.
• Fluent English; French is a plus.

Required skills

• Knowledge of FTTH network architecture.
• Experience with fibre‑optic deployment processes.
• Understanding of outside plant (OSP) infrastructure.
• Proficiency with computer tools and Microsoft Office suite.
