Full-Stack Engineer (Identity & Security Engineer)

About the role

The Identity & Security Engineer will design and implement the identity, access, and security foundation for a Human‑Led AI Orchestration Layer. You will ensure every AI decision, workflow, and Action Point™ is securely authorized, auditable, and aligned with human intent, working across frontend, backend, and cloud security.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and manage authentication using Clerk across frontend and backend, designing RBAC and permission models.
• Integrate identity flows with FastAPI (Python) services and support secure authentication in React + TypeScript applications.
• Apply OAuth2, JWT, CORS, CSRF protection, and rate‑limiting best practices; harden APIs for multi‑tenant SaaS use cases.
• Design identity and permission models for AI agents, define capability‑based scopes, and implement human‑in‑the‑loop approval gates.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience implementing authentication and authorization in web applications.
• Strong experience with Clerk or equivalent identity providers.
• Deep understanding of OAuth2, JWT, session management, and RBAC design.
• Experience building FastAPI (Python) backends and integrating them with React + TypeScript frontends.
