About the role

Mezzo House Ltd is seeking a full‑time Maths Tutor to join its innovative Mezzo Maths programme in Accra. The tutor will deliver engaging mathematics lessons using a learner‑centred, activity‑based approach that builds confidence and interest in the subject.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver lesson plans covering core mathematics and algebra.
• Assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Support individual learners and small groups to reinforce understanding.
• Maintain a positive, interactive classroom environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues to refine teaching materials and strategies.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in Mathematics and Algebra with clear explanatory ability.
• Experience in tutoring (including online tutoring) across varied ages and skill levels.
• Effective communication skills and ability to engage learners.
• Familiarity with learner‑centred, activity‑based teaching methods.
• Degree or diploma in Mathematics, Education, or related field (preferred).
• Willingness to work on‑site in Accra and collaborate within a diverse team.
• Comfort using basic digital tools for lesson preparation and occasional online support.
