Full‑time Plumber – Hotel Maintenance

About the role

We are looking for a full‑time Plumber to join the maintenance team at Best Western Premier Accra Airport Hotel. The successful candidate will ensure that all plumbing systems across the hotel operate safely and efficiently, providing prompt service to staff and guests.

Key responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair pipes, valves, drains and sanitary fixtures throughout the property.
• Diagnose plumbing issues and carry out corrective actions promptly.
• Perform preventive maintenance to minimise downtime and extend equipment life.
• Respond to emergency service requests and work on‑site in Accra.
• Collaborate with the broader maintenance team on technical projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma in Plumbing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or a related field (minimum Second Class Upper).
• Relevant technical training or certification in plumbing or building services; trade school or vocational qualification preferred.
• Knowledge of Ghanaian plumbing codes, safety standards and best practices.
• Ability to work physically demanding tasks and communicate courteously with guests and colleagues.
• Previous experience in hotels or similar commercial properties is an advantage.
