German Translator (Tour Interpreter)

About the role

Forson Communications is seeking a professional German‑English interpreter to accompany tour leaders on multi‑day trips across West Africa. The interpreter will provide real‑time language support throughout the tour, ensuring smooth communication between German‑speaking participants and local stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver accurate German‑to‑English and English‑to‑German interpretation during all tour activities.
• Assist the tour leader with logistical coordination that involves language mediation.
• Adapt interpretation style to various settings, including business meetings, cultural visits, and informal interactions.
• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality while representing the company on‑site.

Required profile

• Professional fluency in both German and English.
• Previous experience in interpretation, preferably in travel, business, or related environments.
• Willingness and ability to travel for assignments ranging from 1 to 28 days across Ghana, Togo, Benin, and Côte d’Ivoire.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
