Ghana Operations Coordinator – Private & Public Partnerships

About the role

The Ghana Operations Coordinator will be the primary on‑the‑ground representative of the organization in Accra. This role drives business recruitment, partnership development, event logistics, government liaison, and client engagement while supporting U.S.-based leadership across time zones.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, research, and recruit Ghanaian businesses and professionals for bilateral programs, trade delegations, and investment opportunities.
• Conduct outreach to prospective partners in construction, energy, technology, healthcare, education, and finance sectors.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute in‑person events, networking receptions, delegation visits, and stakeholder briefings in Accra.
• Secure venues, manage vendors, coordinate catering, AV, and event materials, and provide on‑site event management.
• Build and maintain relationships with Ghanaian ministries, agencies, and regulatory bodies, and coordinate government meetings and official engagements.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for existing and prospective Ghanaian partners, managing communications and relationship continuity.
• Maintain task lists, action items, and project timelines, tracking deliverables and preparing status reports for U.S. leadership.
