GMC Head – ASA International

About the role

The GMC Head will lead the Grievance Management Center for ASA International’s entities, ensuring that employee complaints, appeals and direct grievances are handled in line with group guidelines and local labor laws. This senior position reports to the GMC‑Group Chairperson and works closely with HR teams across multiple branches.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, log and forward all employee complaints, appeals and direct grievances to the GMC‑Group for guidance.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to entity manuals and country labor legislation throughout the mitigation process.
• Prepare and submit monthly GMC reports, including meeting & appeal summaries, complaint follow‑up, punishment compliance, and quarterly status updates.
• Conduct manual reviews to compare HR policies with statutory requirements on termination, promotion, salary increments, penalties, transfers and related actions.
• Lead GMC sessions during orientation, training, exit interviews and online learning modules as designated by HR.
• Perform physical visits to entity branches when required, following instructions from the Group‑GMC.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in management or law.
• 10‑15 years of managerial experience, preferably with a focus on employee relations or compliance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Proven ability to manage stressful situations with professionalism.
• Strong problem‑solving, conflict‑resolution and data‑analysis capabilities.
• Knowledge of relevant labor laws and regulations for the operating entity.
